Super Bowl 57 Props: Top 4 Prop Bets for Chiefs vs Eagles

Super Bowl 57 Props: Top 4 Prop Bets for Chiefs vs Eagles

We’ve made it, folks.

The NFL season comes to a close on Sunday as the top dog in the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs, take on the the top dog in the NFC, the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 57.

There are so many ways that you can enjoy one of, if not the biggest sporting event in the world, and one of them is, of course, betting on it.

You can bet on every single aspect of the Big Game, from the Coin Toss to the Color of the Gatorade Bath.

Maybe betting on what song Rihanna will sing to open the Super Bowl Halftime show is more your jam.

But, at the end of the day, some of the best bets you can make are on the actual game itself.

In this article, I will break down the best Prop Bets for the Big game.

There are so many different prop bets you can take and below, I will give you detailed reasons why these 4 are worth a look.

And the last one…is a MUST BET 😉

Ok, let’s dive in…

1. Quarterback to be Sacked First

Best Bet: Patrick Mahomes (-115)

Let’s kick this off with great value we are getting on Patrick Mahomes to be the first Quarterback sacked.

The 2 week break from the AFC Championship game has surely helped Mahomes recover from his high ankle sprain, but by all accounts, the NFL Regular season MVP is not 100%.

Marry that with the fact that the Eagles are the best front 7 in the league, racking up a league best 70 sacks this season and that is a recipe for pressure.

For the favorable -115 odds for the gimpy Mahomes to get sacked by the most tenacious front 7 in football, too good not to take.

2. What Will Happen First? Sack v Touchdown Scored

Best Bet: Touchdown (-110)

I know I just talked about how Mahomes will be harassed by the Eagles defense. So to turn around and take the odds on the TD to happen first is…interesting.

But hear me out.

Both of these offense are elite and will look to assert themselves early, with the quick pass game and the run game.

Neither are going to want to make an early mistake and if both offenses can get rolling, I expect touchdowns to roll throughout the game.

The game total is high at 51 and even if it doesn’t go over, it will get close.

I am trusting Mahomes and Hurts to lead their respective offenses down the field for an early score and then the defenses to tighten up and adjust.

3.What will happen First for Kansas City Chiefs?

Best Bet: Score Points (+108)

The Kansas City Chiefs have one of the best offenses in the NFL. But as far as offensive offeciency, they are statistically number 1.

According to Pro Football Reference, the Chiefs scored on 46.4% of their offensive plays, good for the top spot in the NFL.

They have one of the best game planners and offensive minds in NFL history in Andy Reid paired with one of the most creative offensive coordinators in the league, Eric Bienemy, with over 2 weeks to construct a game plan and run a successful ‘first 15.’

The Chiefs first 15 plays will no doubt be geared towards getting the scoring rolling early.

Match that with their league best Scoring efficiency, I love the plus money we are getting for the Chiefs to score points before having to send out Punter Tommy Townsend.

4.Both Teams Successful 4th down Conversion?

Best Bet: Yes (+118)

For the value, this is my favorite of all the Prop bets in the biggest game of the season.

If you have watched both these teams all season, you know they both have absolutely no issue going for it on 4th down.

The Eagles went for it the 4th most in the NFL with 32 attempts and converted on 22 of them, good for 2nd best.

That’s a 68.8% conversion rate, good for 4th best in the league.

On the other side, the Chiefs didn’t go for it as often, but when they did, they were excellent.

The Chiefs converted 9 of their 12 4th down attempts, good for 75% and 2nd best in the league.

The final point here, which solidifies this as my Favorite Prop of Super Bowl 57, is the odds for each individual team to convert a 4th down.

  • Chiefs to have a successful 4th down conversion (-152)
  • Eagles to have a successful 4th down conversion (-280)

Well, well, well…

As you can see, the odds are heavily favoring both teams to convert a 4th down.

Yet the odds for BOTH of them to convert is plus money…

You just absolutely love to see it.

Jalen Hurts

Super Bowl LVII First & Anytime Touchdown Scorers

Well, it is finally here.

Super Bowl 57 has arrived and will kick-off in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, February 12th and boy is it going to be a good one.

Super Bowl 57

The #1 Seed from the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs take on the #1 Seed from the NFC the Philadelphia Eagles in a battle of the 2 best teams from each conference to take home the Lombardi trophy and be crowned the Best Team in the World.

There are so many ways that you can bet on the biggest football game of the year, from the Coin Toss to the Color of the Gatorade Bath.

But at the end of the day, the most exciting bet you can make in the game is which player is going to score a touchdown and, even better, which player is going to score first?

You can also bet on whether the Chiefs or Eagles will score first but you came here for some ATTD fun so that’s what we are going to do!

Below, I will give you:

  • Best Any Time Touchdown Scorers from the Chiefs and Eagles
  • Best First Touchdown Scorer from the Chiefs and the Eagles

Super Bowl Anytime Touchdown Scorers

Kansas City Chiefs: Jerick McKinnon ATTD (+195)

Jerick McKinnon ATTD

Let’s kick this off with the Chiefs Swiss Army knife out of the backfield, Jerick McKinnon.

McKinnon is 2nd on the Chiefs with 10 total touchdowns this season, behind only Travis Kelce (more in Kelce in a minute)

Jerick hasn’t broken the plane in the Chiefs two post season games, but he scored in 6 straight games to cap off the regular season and the Chiefs are going to want to use one of their most dynamic pass catchers in the red zone in the biggest game of their season.

Look for HC Andy Reid and Offensive Coordinator Eric Bienemy to cook up a couple looks for McKinnon when the Chiefs get down inside the 10.

For the +195 value for  the Chiefs 2nd most prolific scorer to break the plane, I love McKinnon!

Philadelphia Eagles: AJ Brown ATTD (+120)

AJ Brown ATTD

On the Eagles side, let’s use similar logic as we did with the Chiefs and go with the stud WR who scored the 2nd most TDs for the Eagles this season, AJ Brown.

Brown racked up 11 TDs this season, 2nd on the Eagles only behind QB Jalen Hurts (more on him shortly).

Big players make big plays in the Super Bowl and Brown is just that.

Look for AJ to have plenty of opportunities to put in a star performance, racking up yards and most importantly for our bet, breaking the plane 😉

Super Bowl First Touchdown Scorer

Chiefs: Travis Kelce (+650)

Travis Kelce ATTD

Picking the player to score the first touchdown is obviously a bit more of a gamble than the standard ATTD but someone has to score first and for the Chiefs, no better way to go than Travis Kelce.

Kelce lead the Chiefs in the regular season with 12 total touchdowns, good for 8th in the NFL.

The All-Pro Tight End has 3 TD’s this post season and in both games, scored first for the Chiefs.

It is no secret that Patrick Mahomes wants to get Kelce the ball often, especially in the red zone, but stopping it is something no team has been able to do.

For +650 for the best option on the field to do what he has done the last 2 games, I will take that value all day long!

Eagles: Jalen Hurts (+800)

Jalen Hurts ATTD

Let’s cap this off with Eagle with the most touchdowns on the team to sneak into the end zone first.

Hurts led the Eagles with 13 rushing touchdowns on the season, good for 7th in the NFL.

The Eagles will be looking for Hurts to take over this game in as many ways as possible, throwing and most importantly, running.

If the Eagles get the ball first and are able to move the ball down the field to the red zone, Hurts is automatically the best threat to score on a sneak or any type of Quarterback run.

The Eagles were able to capitalize on Hurts’ dual threat ability in the red zone all season long and that will be a big factor in helping them push towards lifting the Lombardi Trophy.

Enjoy the Game!

Super Bowl Score Predictions: What Will the Chiefs vs Eagles Score Be?

Super Bowl Score Predictions: What Will the Chiefs vs Eagles Score Be?

This year’s Super Bowl matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles is just days away, and you don’t have to look very far to find Super Bowl LVII score predictions from humans and computers alike.

For fans and bettors, there’s a lot riding on the outcome of the matchup between the AFC champion Chiefs and the NFC champion Eagles, but depending on what you have bet on, the exact final score is going to make or break your Super Bowl bets.

Throughout the NFL season, Betting News has provided odds, picks, and other important betting information for every NFL matchup, along with all of the written content that the Betting News team has done week in, week out.

In addition to aggregated picks, we also provide score predictions from our trusted sports betting industry sources.

How does that information stack up for Super Bowl LVII?

Super Bowl LVII Score Predictions

The score predictions below are as of Wednesday, February 8, 2023, and they could very well change between now and Super Bowl Sunday.

For up-to-date information, check out our Chiefs vs Eagles matchup page, where, in addition to predictions, you can find picks (moneyline, spread, and over/under), odds, and best bets for this year’s Super Bowl showdown.

Who Will Win Super Bowl LVII?

Note: The percentages should read 83% in favor of the Eagles and 17% in favor of the Chiefs. We are working on fixing that issue.

Of our six sourced Super Bowl LVII score predictions, all but one back the Philadelphia Eagles to come out on top at State Farm Stadium on Sunday. The lone contrarian in the bunch is SportsGrid, who backs the Chiefs to take the win.

In the regular season, the Eagles faced five teams from the AFC, and they won all five games.

Philadelphia Eagles vs the AFC in the 2022 NFL Regular Season
  • Jacksonville Jaguars (Week 4 – home): Won 29-21
  • Pittsburgh Steelers (Week 8 – home): Won 35-13
  • Houston Texans (Week 9 – away): Won 29-17
  • Indianapolis Colts (Week 11 – away): Won 17-16
  • Tennessee Titans (Week 13 – home): Won 35-10

On the other side, the Chiefs faced five teams from the NFC in the regular season, and just as Philadelphia was perfect against the AFC, Kansas City was also perfect against the NFC.

In fact, they have a chance to start and end the season with a win at State Farm Stadium. In Week 1 of the regular season, the Chiefs recorded a resounding road win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Kansas City Chiefs vs the NFC in the 2022 NFL Regular Season
  • Arizona Cardinals (Week 1 – away): Won 44-21
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Week 4 – away): Won 41-31
  • San Francisco 49ers (Week 7 – away): Won 44-23
  • Los Angeles Rams (Week 12 – home): Won 26-10
  • Seattle Seahawks (Week 16 – home): Won 24-10

None of the Super Bowl score predictions have a margin of more than a handful of points, so win or lose, the Chiefs could be in for their closest game against an opponent from the NFC since a 13-7 home win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 9 of the 2021 season.

Since losing to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV two years ago, the Chiefs have won ten straight games against NFC opposition.

Overall, since Patrick Mahomes became Kansas City’s starting quarterback in 2018, the Chiefs are 20-4 against NFC opposition.

In addition to the Super Bowl LV loss, they lost road games to the Rams and Seahawks in the 2018 season and a home game against the Packers in the 2019 season.

So, even though the Eagles are favored and have a big edge with our sources for Super Bowl picks and score predictions, they are up against some pretty formidable history.

What Will be More: Jaylen Brown Points or Eagles Points?

  • Jaylen Brown -0.5 (-115)

  • Eagles Points +0.5 (-115)

Eagles Touchdown

Let’s kick this off by comparing the total Points for the Eagles vs How many points NBA Star Jaylen Brown will score for the Boston Celtics on Sunday.

The Philadelphia Eagles have averaged 28 point per game this season and have scored 30+ in their 2 playoff games.

The Over/Under for the Super bowl is set to 50.5 and there should be plenty of points scored on both side.

It is hard to know what Jaylen Browns point line will be this many days in advance but he has been averaging 27 PPG over his last 5 games.

The Celtics take on the Grizzlies on Sunday and in the last 2 matchups against the Grizzlies, Brown has scored 21 and 18 points respectively.

For me, I like the Eagles to score more points than Brown, especially with the +0.5 cushion.

Best Bet

Eagles to Score more +0.5 (-115)

Which Will Be More: Jalen Hurts Passing Yards or the Lakers/Warriors Points on Feb. 11th?

  • Lakers/Warriors Points on Feb. 11th +4.5 (-115)

  • Jalen Hurts Passing Yards -4.5 (-115)

Jalen Hurts

Even though I do think Jalen Hurts is going to have a huge impact in the Super Bowl, I think it is going to be more on the ground than through the air.

He has less than 229 yards in 4 of his last 5 games and hasn’t eclipsed 200 so far in the playoffs.

Granted, the matchups haven’t called for a lot of air yards for Hurts, I could see him hovering around 200 again and being a more dominant runner.

The Lakers/Warriors game on Saturday night should be a points fest, with the last 5 matchups all eclipsing the 230+ mark.

Give me the +4.5 on the Lakers game to cover the number and probably even be a higher total.

Best Bet

Lakers/Warriors Points on Feb. 11th +4.5 (-115)

Which Will Be More: Connor McDavid Points on Feb. 12th or Patrick Mahomes Touchdown Passes

  • Connor McDavid Points (+100)

  • Patrick Mahomes Touchdown Passes (-140)

Connor McDavid

For the value, I love riding with Connor McDavid in this spot.

The Edmonton Oilers play the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday and in their previous meeting earlier this season, McDavid had 2 goals and 4 points.

McDavid has 2+ points in 4 of his last 5 games.

In Patrick Mahomes 2 Super Bowl appearances, he has 0 TD passes and 2 TD passes.

Even though this game should be high scoring, given the recent trends, Mahomes will probably only throw for 2 touchdowns or less.

For the +100, I love the value on McDavid to have a big game against the Canadiens and score more points than Mahomes TD passes.

Best Bet

Connor McDavid points (+100)

Will Tom Brady Appear in a Super Bowl Ad?

  • Yes (-140)
  • No (+100)

Even though he turned 45 last year, many NFL fans were caught off guard by Tom Brady’s recent retirement. The seven-time Super Bowl winner bleeds football, which is why it isn’t unfathomable to imagine him being involved on Sunday in some way.

Tom Brady Super bowl

A commercial appearance is possible because Brady has never shied away from them in the past. Everybody remembers his famous “Five Rings” commercial following the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl 51 victory, so there’s a chance he might already have a retirement video filmed.

Regardless, Brady loves the spotlight. So, look for him to stand under it once again on Super Sunday even if he’s not on the field.

Enjoy Super Bowl Sunday!
